Sunset Springbok, Etosha, Namibia

Sunset Springbok.
African light can be harsh, leaching colour from everything, but the sunset can also put back colour everything. Here on the vast salt pans of Etosha National Park the salt pans take on a golden glow in which the springbok grazed.
However, the dusty effect was created by cars trying to leave the park before sundown. We had misread the at the gate and arrived (in the dark) 1 hour late to find the gate locked, and the ranger threatening not to let us out!
